Cabo Real Golf Course
The Cabo Real golf course is located in the middle of the 3,500 acre Cabo Real resort development halfway between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo. Designed by Robert Trent Jones II, Jones says “I tried to create a high quality course that appears to have been designed by its setting, where every hole features vistas of the sea.” Both Golf Magazine and Golf Digest have rated Cabo Real as among the best in the world. Cabo Real works it way up into the mountains for the first six holes before turning towards the sea, finishing the front nine around a lake. The second nine heads down to the Sea of Cortez for a scenic tour of the ocean. The PGA Tour Senior Slam was held at Cabo Real in 1996 and 1999. The course rating from the tips is 74.1 with a slope of 140. There are five tee placements for golfers of all abilities. A classic layout, Cabo Real is an honest test of golf for all.
